“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.”

I’m positive I’ve said it on occasion in the past. After reading about historical revivals and great men of God who were used mightily to advance Christ’s Kingdom.

“We need a man like that today..”

I see it often in the comment section on the A.W. Tozer Facebook Page.

“Lord raise up someone like this, where are the Godly men for our day?”

Let this be a challenge to you as it is a challenge for myself.

Be the man. Be the woman. Let our heart and our voice cry. “Use me oh Lord.”

We’re all standing on the edge of the pool looking to see who will jump in first. I guess we want to make sure the water isn’t too cold. Some of us have dropped the charade of readying to jump entirely, pulled up a chair and served ourselves a nice glass of lemonade.

Confusion abounds with regards to what a man and woman looks like. Show them. Be the man, be the woman of God. Be the light to the world, a city on a hill…. Bring light to darkness… Clarity to confusion.
